Traveling has been one of my favorite things in life. I’m not sure which mode of travel I like best. It is nice to fly somewhere and then rent a car so you can drive to the things you want to see. Traveling by car with friends has been enjoyable. I have thoroughly enjoyed going on three cruises. Our first was a trip to the Bahamas with a group of farmers from our area. Our accommodations were messed up and we had the worst rooms on the ship but tolerated that because it was an adventure for us country hicks. We did get a refund. Our next cruise was plane, train, and ship to Alaska with a tour group including many of our friends. We had one very stormy night which almost made me sea sick. Our last cruise was to the Panama Canal. This time we had a great room with a balcony. Loved every minute of that trip. We have taken several tour bus trips also. These have been fun but so often you miss things that you would like to see that aren’t on the itinerary. Or, you go to things that are of no interest to you but that some of the others enjoy. Of course, our trip to Europe was our all-time favorite. A plane to get there and then the tour bus. So many, many, things to see and places to go! My regret now is that we don’t feel safe driving in dense traffic so have turned into stay-at-home people.
