Since moving to Clarksville I have enjoyed going to coffee each morning at Pete and Shorty’s with a group of men. Depending on the day there could be anywhere from 3 to 7 guys. Anyone coming in was always welcome. The worlds problems could always be solved by someone in the group. There were always some who talked a lot and like me some were listeners. Tom Clark was always a bright spot when he came in smiling and full of fun. It was very sad to have Tom pass away from cancer at a very young age. Because of the pandemic and a new owner our coffee mornings have stopped. I really miss the time spent hashing things over. Once everyone has their shots we will probably resume getting together but at the newer spot in town Lizzy Lou’s.
