One meal that was delicious and fun that I remember was a time we went to Maryland to visit Joyce’s brother Darrell and his family. They took us to a small island near Chesapeake Bay for a fish dinner. We were seated at a long table covered with brown paper and a roll of paper towels for napkins. They then dumped all kinds of shell fish down the center of the table. We were given tools to open the shells with. A friend of Darrell’s showed us the best way to open the shells and pick out the delicious fish. When we were finished eating these they rolled the paper up with the mess inside and proceeded to set the table nicely. We were then served plates full of many other kinds of cooked fish. Not only was it delicious but fun and something we had never done before.
