Andy was born April 4th, 1993 in Iowa City, Iowa. His parents are Mike and Natalie. Andy has always been one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. He is very intelligent. I’m not just saying this because I’m his Grandmother. It was always fun to have him around. We have lots of pictures of the older grandkids enjoying him. When Andy was in high school he acted in the school plays and did a great job. We loved going to watch him. He was also active in band. Andy graduated from City High in Iowa City and then went on to Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin where he graduated with honors. He moved to Chicago, Illinois and worked for Home Chef for several years. Andy has always been a traveler and a bicyclist and has traveled many places on his own and with friends. On many of these trips he has ridden his bicycle many many miles. Recently he said he crossed the Golden Gate bridge twice in one day on his bicycle. Andy is now living in Minneapolis and working in the office of Erik’s Bike Shop. This is a chain of 30 stores. Great job for Andy. Andy wondered why Kyler could stand on the counter and he couldn’t so yes, his head touched the ceiling. He is rather tall. Elena was born on October 14, 1994 in Iowa City, Iowa. She could be the sweetest happiest little girl around if she wanted to be but she had a mind of her own and could often be really a handful. Ellie was staying with us one time and decided she didn’t really want to be there. In the course of our argument she kicked me, not hard, and my reaction was a swat on her butt. She said she was going to tell her mom on me for that. A little while later she came and said “Grandma can we have a secret?” She wouldn’t tell her Mom if I wouldn’t tell that we had painted her fingernails. I didn’t know she couldn’t have her nails painted until she quit sucking her thumb. Ellie graduated from City High and left the states to go to Kingston University in London. While going to the University she got her job in marketing. After going to college there for four years she continued to stay and work there for several more years before deciding to go to Scotland to continue her education at the University of Glasgow. She is ready to graduate December 2021 and is working at the University. One of my favorite pictures!
