Today is a great day of honoring veterans. Also, today is the day that the banks close to remember our veterans. I am feeling sad today because for probably the last 42 years I have gone shopping with Rhonda on this day. We would always start our Christmas shopping and, of course, have lunch together. Once Mandy started working she would take the day off and go too. The two of them would help me decide what I needed to buy for gifts for the little ones. This year my poor old body tells me it is time to give it up and let them go at their faster pace and not have to wait around for me to keep up. That plus the fact that I ache for a week after for one day of shopping. Also, there is the fact that our family has grown so much that’s it is impossible to come up with gift ideas for all of them. Missed you guys today! It’s been a really fun tradition. I really hate admitting I’m getting OLD.
