My favorite memories were playing sports with my friends. I pitched and played short stop in baseball. My Mother saved clippings from the paper telling about the games. A couple of the things in the articles were “Bob Fenneman and Larry Klunder both blasted a single, double and triple in five times at bat to lead the hitting for the day”, Bob Fenneman hurled effective three hit baseball in his first pitching attempt. There were several bad pictures of me along with the articles. I also played basketball and was on the varsity team. I loved the game and did well. There was no high school football until after I graduated.
